Since its foundation in 1924, Samyang Group has carried out righteous and trustworthy management practices for more than 90 years. Going forward, we will continue to build mutual trust with various stakeholders, including our clients, shareholders and business partners, while pursuing sustainable growth.

We established our Code of Ethics in 2022 and strengthened our internal accounting program in 2006 to raise our ethical management standards to the international level. Then in May 2013, we declared our renewed ethical management standards to be applied throughout Samyang Group.

For Samyang, the ultimate goal of ethical management is to fulfill our social responsibility as a company. Taking this goal to heart, we will make earnest efforts to become a reliable company that grows together with the members of our society. All our employees understand and follow our Five Ethical Management Principles and Practical Guideline when performing their day-to-day tasks.

We have no doubt that practicing ethical management is the prerequisite to becoming a trustworthy company, and that it is the solid foundation for the next 100 years of success. We will continue to practice ethical management that meets the international standards and build another 100 years filled with even more happiness than the last.

With the aim to comply with the law and ethical principles and fulfill our corporate duties and social responsibilities, we have established ethical management principles which serve as a guideline for our decisions and actions. Ethical Management Reporting

We collect reports on non-ethical acts that violate the company’s Code of Ethics and Practical Guideline.

What to Report

  • Receiving money, gifts, entertainment or convenience from stakeholders, such as business partners
  • Misusing or gaining unfair gains from using company assets and information
  • Violation of the internal accounting management regulation (intentionally providing, or forcing or hiding the act of providing false accounting information)
  • Other non-ethical acts involving stakeholders

  • We collect reports on abuse of superior position, unfair contracts or revisions, delayed payment, unfair return or rejection of goods, and any other violations of the Fair Trade Act.

  • We handle and respond to the reported concerns as swiftly as possible.
