Type 1 is high chemical stability. And type 2, lower basicity and chemical stability, but
higher regeneration efficiency than type 1. Especially, in case of porous structure of these
resins, some characteristics which are superior to gel type resins include high reaction rate,
strong decolorization capability, good stability against organic fouling, high physical strength, etc.
