TRILITE¢ç Ion Exchange Resins

Samyang Corp. is the only resin maker in Korea and began ion-exchange resins business in 1977 through technological alliance with Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation of Japan. It used to share Mitsubishi Chemical's brand, DIAION¢ç at the Korean domestic market. However, Samyang Corp. newly launched its own Ion Exchange Resin brand, TRILITE¢ç in 2006 due to the growing demands for overseas sales and is gaining grounds by being exported to many countries.

Samyang Corp. has started its business by manufacturing general resins for water treatment and is now at the forefront of bringing out new products improving product quality and various resin-related services to be remained so.

Ion exchange resins are now being used not only for water treatment as in the past, but in a wide variety of fields including the food industry, medicine, and semiconductor industry.

Samyang Corp. is making every effort to satisfy customer needs through ongoing research and a full range of customer support services. In March 2000, Samyang obtained ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications, and has continued to enhance the quality of its products and services.

Ulsan Plant

Samyang's Ulsan plant is located in the Southeastern end of Korean peninsula and is very near to Ulsan Port, which is the strategic industrial hub port of Korea. Ulsan Port surrounded by large-scaled national industrial complex contributed to 56% of the nation's crude oil imports, 38% of car exports and 38% of ship exports in 2005.
