Samyang has been a leader in promoting balanced development of sports, medicine, academics and culture. The Group established a women¡¯s cycling team in 1986, when cycling was not well known in Korea. Over the next two decades, Samyang has continued stimulate interest in the sport, and the team has produced many of Korea¡¯s best women cyclists, who continue to set new national records.

Samyang¡¯s interest in society extends to the cultivation of human talent. The Group provides various kinds of support to universities such as cancer research funds, academic information center, and university development funds, ultimately contributing to national economic progress and public health promotion.
